Certifications
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a system for the independent, uniform monitoring and certification, at an international level, of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products in the textile sector, at every stage of production, and of the accessory materials used. It helps to guarantee a high and effective level of product safety from the consumer's point of view.
Sustainable Orthopaedic pillow
It offers extreme comfort, high performance and reliability.
The outer cover is made in knitted fabric made with Newlife™ eco-recycled yarn knitted fabric, the ultimate in eco-friendliness, high quality and performance, derived from plastic bottles collected and recycled in Italy.
The filling comprises hypoallergenic eco-recycled polyester fibre wadding, carded and in a series of successive layers. Certified sustainability.
The Sustainable Orthopaedic pillow offers firm and even support for the head and neck: the nape rests on the central part of the pillow, while the neck is well supported by one of the two cylinders that make up the internal structure. It has been demonstrated that the prevention, alleviation and mitigation of the problems linked to the cervical column are particularly important, rendering it suitable for rehabilitation and physiotherapy, for both the prevention and treatment of muscular and skeletal problems, and for idiopathic pain in the cervical column.
The Sustainable Orthopaedic pillow is particularly recommended for people who sleep on their back, on their side or in the foetal position, the most appropriate postures.
Composition
Core in 100% expanded polyurethane foam, Risorsa®, 21kg/m3 (±5%). Filled with 100% hypoallergenic, eco-recycled polyester fibre wadding. Outer cover in knitted 55% Newlife™ eco-recycled polyester and 45% viscose fabric 200 g/m3 (+/-5%).
Maintenance
The pillow is not washable.
It is not possible to wash the pillow because in a domestic situation it would be extremely problematic to ensure its drying. If the pillow were to retain even a small percentage of internal moisture it could give subsequent problems. A quick surface cleaning is possible, taking care not to allow a substantial amount of water to penetrate the pillow.
